Hope there are lighter fabrics and products
Very happy with this shirt. Very nice as a midlayer under my 3-in1 jacket, but also pleasantly warm and comfortably soft at home. The collar that can be unzipped is very nice. For me, the collar could have been a little higher so that it retains heat better.
I wear this Merino on mountain hikes (HRP, ski trekking, etc.). During training, when walking quickly, the seams and inserts under the arms really hurt. It would be nice if the seams were flat so as not to hurt.

very comfortable and warm in mid season. The cut is good because neither too tight nor too wide to play the strengths of Merino wool.
Drying speed is slightly slower. Good anti-odor effect

The FORCLAZ merino range is just perfect. Comfortable, warm, light.
It is recommended that you buy the cheapest one, which is sufficient and looks better. This one simply has more zippers and is a bit more expensive. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it.
Wicks away perspiration while remaining warm. Limits odors unlike synthetic sweaters.

Reduction of the freezing effect
After exercise and sweating heavily, Merino wool prevents evaporation helping to maintain body temperature by absorbing the majority of the body's moisture. This therefore reduces any unpleasant chilling effect.Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team tested this T-shirt for four days in the Southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
